Remembering Silvio Berlusconi: Italian ex-Prime Minister

He is known for being the longest serving post war ex-prime minister.  A politician who turned in from a successful businessman.  His business is through real estate, department stores, cinemas, publishing houses, and the football club AC Milan and founder of a conservative political party.   In 1994 Silvio Berlusconi founded Forza Italia.  The running party of the office of Mme. Giorgio Meloni.

To respect and escort Silvio Berlusconi to his final resting place, a day of national mourning was held in place. All Italian and European flags on public building have been lowered to half -mast. The Archbishop of Milan led Berlusconi’s state funeral in the city’s grand cathedral.

Though sometime Silvio has a controversial character, he is deeply loved and respected by his people.  We joined the sincere chants and hands clapping of the mourners who escorted Silvio Berlusconi to his final resting place. Safe journey and goodbye … Silvio…
